Hilary & Andrew (as featured in Catalonia Today), two of our members  are looking to re-home some outdoor cats.  Hilary & Andrew selflessly work for PROGAT, a registered charity here on the Costa Brava.  They are preparing to move back to the UK and have four healthy, vet-checked & neutered kitties looking for homes.  However, these are cats that have to live outside and would be very beneficial for all types of reasons. Do you live in a place that needs some good mousers? Or just looking for cats that do not need too much attention?  It may be that you travel, can’t have cats in the house and just would like some friendly cats who are good vermin hunters around.  These are clean, neutered and healthy animals who can provide you with good company but not too many demands.  Cats are therapeutic, interesting and stimulating company (on their own terms, of course!).  They would just need a neighbour to put down some food & water outside if you didn’t happen to be around because you are away for a long time. If it’s just a few days then, some feeders with dry food and water will suffice.  They would also keep other stray cats (with possible diseases, looking to mate, aggressive to your other animals) away from your territory.  Because they are neutered they will not reproduce, spray or go cat-calling!  These are animals in need of a good home and need to be given a chance. They are not Ferrel (wild) but have possibly not had the best start in life and need a home.  If you could find it in your heart to just take one of them that would be wonderful.
